About

Heather moved to Nashville right out of high school and studied at the prestigious Belmont University as a music business major.

After working in the music industry and gigging in Nashville, she knew her style was rock n roll and wanted to move to Hollywood to pursue that genre.

From Nashville to Hollywood, California was the place to be and felt like home.

But the toxic music industry and life of LA was just too much for this daydreaming artist.

Heather decided to move to by the ocean in Orange County— right in the middle of having several breakthroughs in the music industry.

this is a crossroad many musicians come to, Heather decided that she wanted to make music on her own terms, with her soul and spirit intact.

This lead to a discovery of all things of why are we here, what is life and what is this all about. A spiritual journey and exploration of what was next in life was pursued.

After hearing some Vedic chanting, Heather quickly took a deep dive into Indian music.

What was it, why was it so interesting, what makes it speak to the soul and how can I learn more were the immediate questions.

Thus her interests took off for Indian music and she started studying Carnatic music (South Indian classical music) under Babu Parameshwaran -her beloved Carnatic guru.

Since then Heather has studied under several Hindustani teachers, Bengali teachers and other Vedic chanting teachers.

She also plays instruments and teaches music in public schools.
